Triplets, Tubby, and the Missing Cookie

Tonight I'm watching six kids... triplets (age 8) from one family and three (ages 7, 8, and 10) from another. We've been at the triplets' house eating pizza and playing outside. Around 7:45 I popped popcorn and got out the plate of cookies that the triplets' mom had baked earlier. I got everyone a bowl of popcorn with a cookie sitting on top... including myself. My mom called just as I was trying to figure out their DVD remote(s) so we could watch Enchanted. I spent a few minutes "mmmm hmmming" to my mom and pressing buttons on the remotes (they have 2 DVD players... talk about confusing.) I quickly noticed that my cookie that was carefully placed on top of my popcorn was missing... I said, "Did Tubby eat my cookie?" (Tubby is the triplets' sneaky labradoodle.) I told my laughing mom that I had to go. I went into the kitchen and dumped the top layer of my dog-slobbered popcorn in the trash, refilled my bowl, and grabbed another cookie... Back to being technologically-handicapped. About ten seconds later, the seven year old said, "My cookie is gone!" One of the triplets found his missing as well, and Tubby gobbled my second cookie and smurfed on my popcorn before we could stop him. Then, the seven year old girl dropped her bowl of popcorn on the floor, and Tubby immediately had the clean-up taken care of... Tubby is in his crate right now. My new popcorn is waiting for me, and Enchanted is finally playing on the TV. Poor Tubby.
