Last Friday and Saturday my mom and I attended the NKBC Women's Retreat at Island Lake. The theme was HOPE - Hold On to the Promises Eternal. This was a great time to connect with other women, as well as to learn about placing my hopes and expectations in God's hands. With our hopes in his hands we have peace and can be truly satisfied.
"Blessed are those who trust in the Lord, and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. - I am a Christ-following 20-year-old teacher and writer. I grew up being nourished by a Christ-following family and I accepted Christ at seven years old. I was baptized by my dad at eleven, and began a real, passionate relationship with God in my early teen years. I graduated from North Kitsap High School and Olympic College in 2007 and invested a year working at Silverwood School the following year. Last year I attended Ecola Bible School in Cannon Beach, Oregon. This Fall I will be pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at Eastern Washington University. I commit to always follow God's leads in my life and desire to be a captivating wife, loving mother, inspiring teacher, and powerful writer.
