Summer Fun

I've been enjoying my three week break between working at Silverwood and teaching Summer School. I've had time to just be. I've been learning a lot about how my value doesn't come from what I do for others, but who I am in Christ. My value comes from who God made me - it is so exciting to actually see myself as someone made in His image!

Acts 17:28 says, "For in him we live and move and have being.
As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.'"

~Lauren, Victoria, and I~ "The Last Melon!"

Ps. 18:19 says, "He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me."

~Victoria and I~ We grabbed coffee and walked around downtown. We ended up having a couple hispanic guys laugh at us because we started screaming in the middle of the crosswalk when a gardner snake started slithering toward us on the pavement. We were pretty embarassed.
Ps. 45:11 says, "The king is enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord."

(: ~Midnight Snack~ :)
Zeph. 3:17 says, "The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."
