The Weekend of Auto Repair
Adam had the brakes in his Jeep go out and he was borrowing my car over Spring Break - we carpooled. We spend all weekend trying to fix whatever was wrong. His brother Mike helped on Saturday night and Papa and my Dad helped all day on Sunday. To make a long story short, Adam didn't have enough money to replace everything needed, so he combined his original 1988 Cherokee parts, old parts from a 1993 Wrangler that his uncle gave him, and new parts for the 88 Cherokee. We ran into some trouble fitting everything together correctly - that's why it took so long. I spend a lot of the time observing - I've never known how anything works on a car. As far as the brakes and axles go, I can understand what they're talking about now! I'm just glad Adam's up-and-running again. It took a lot of stress off when everything was finally fixed.
